Unlike the Intraknit (Merino Sport blend with polyester), the Classic is pure 100% merino: it regulates temperature better on longer moderate-intensity sessions, but dries a bit slower. For high-output backcountry snowmobiling, the Intraknit is often the better pick. For ski touring or lower-intensity outings, the Classic is hard to beat. This model can go in the dryer on low heat, the Intraknit cannot.
