1100g of high-performance composite. The Casque Helium Alpha is built on a Super-Lite shell combining carbon fiber, Kevlar®, and aerospace-grade fiberglass. Lightweight and tough in an open-face helmet designed for aggressive trail and mountain riding.

The ultra high-flow 365 vent control system delivers maximum air exchange year-round. Dual-density EPS core, intrusion-resistant rear diffuser compatible with neck braces, and an impact-absorbing chin composite provide protection that exceeds ECE 22.06 standards. Glove-friendly adjustable peak, winter vent plugs included.

The Helium Alpha shares the same composite shell and 365 ventilation as the Carbon MIPS model, at 50g more and without the MIPS system. If you want the lightweight feel without the pure carbon price tag, this is the right compromise.
